With Tawang - at the heart of it - is famous for the largest monastery in India and the 2nd largest in the world - the Tawang Monastery. The yellow roof of the Monastery in a picturesque setting catches one's eyes from far away.
This tour takes you to the heart of Buddhism - while also showing the some hidden destinations such as Nameri National Park, the Sangestar Tso (also known as Madhuri Lake after the actress Madhuri), remote passes of Arunachal - Sela and Bumla, and packs some adventure in River rafting at Nameri River.

DAY 1: REACH GUWAHATI, DRIVE TO NAMERI
Arrive at Guwahati Airport - drive to the Nameri National Park which is 3 hours from Guwahati. Nameri is famous for its elephants and other animals including tigers, leopards, gaurs, wild pigs, sambars, etc and also for being a bird watchers paradise.

DAY 2: RIVER RAFTING AT NAMERI, DRIVE TO DIRANG.
In the morning, head for rafting on the Jai Bharali River. The rafting route is 13 km long and takes about 3 hours. A great, tiring and enjoyable experience. (You can opt to stay back at the hotel). After noon, leave for Dirang, which is 140 kilometres away. Check-in at your hotel in Dirang

DAY 3: DRIVE TO TAWANG, SIGHTSEEING IN DIRANG AND SELA PASS
After breakfast, drive to Tawang, which is 160 kilometres from Dirang. On the way, visit the famous Sela Pass, JaswantGarh and the Nuranang Waterfall. Later, check-in to your hotel in Tawang

DAY 4 - TAWANG SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, spend the entire day visiting the Tawang monastery and various other places in and around Tawang.

DAY 5: MADHURI LAKE AND BUMLA PASS
After breakfast, leave for Madhuri Lake. The Picturesque Lake is locally known as the Sangetsar Lake. Later, visit the Indo-China border at Bumla Pass. The Pass is located at an altitude of 15,200 feet and is one of the remotest passes in India.

DAY 6: DRIVE TO BOMDILLA, SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, drive to Bomdilla - on the way visit the hot water spring in Dirang. Spend the evening visiting various tourist attractions in Bomdilla.
